With a focus on educating the whole person, the Graduate School of Theology and Ministry engages students to hear God’s voice through a rigorous academic, theological and biblical program. A variety of ATS accredited master’s and doctoral degree programs are offered in distance and residential formats.

Extracurricular Activities

Clubs	Working through the academic experience together, students form support networks and friendships that often last far beyond degree completion and result in professional contact as well. Graduate study is an exciting undertaking in which students are able to explore specific topics that shape life and career goals. Opportunities in leadership are also available through the Graduate Theology Student Association.
Service Opportunities	Outreach with ORU Missions and Community Outreach provides the perfect opportunity for service in the community. Annually, ORU ministry practicum students contribute over 7,000 hours of community service, and mission internship students contribute over 6,000 hours of ministry service. In recent years, ORU students have been involved in 89 different missions and community outreach projects. From helping at-risk youth to cleaning up after Hurrican Katrina or helping orphans in China learn English, there's something for every student who wants to serve those in need.
Employment	There are two types of Assistantships: Graduate and Teaching. GA's are available during the first and subsequent years of study for clerical positions. A limited number of TA's are offered to students who have completed one year of study. These positions are highly competitive. Please contact the Seminary for more information.
